First there was the pop of the cork, the smell of baking empanadas, and the cheers of friends and family. And then, back in April, The Urban Grocer made its television debut.
Over the past several months, I have had the incredible opportunity to share with the Cooking Channel audience all of the amazing food finds and people I uncovered in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A thriving hothouse of cool, this South American city was an absolute dream to feature. From expert sommeliers like Nigel, to adorable in-the-know foodies like Maria, to amazing young chefs whose inspiration was contagious, I had a blast in Bs As and I hope you enjoyed watching the journey.
And if you missed it the first time around, no worries! We’re re-airing throughout October, so be sure to check out a full list of air times, set your DVR to record series, and help us spread the good word.
A massive thank you to all who have tuned in, generated chatter, and supported this project. For the production team and I, The Urban Grocer is a true labor of love and we’re so grateful and thrilled to have had the opportunity to share it with you.
So now that the dust has settled, we’re dying to know: What did you think?!? What were your favorite moments? What places do you want to visit? We’d love to hear it all!
