Bottle Cap Basil

You don’t have space for an herb garden, you say? Not anymore. Just grab a soda bottle, pop off the top, and voila! Your plot is ready for action. All you need now are some basil seeds and a little tablet of compressed dry soil, both of which you can get from Merry Shop, a Japanese company that’s taken urban gardening to a whole new level of small. (But really, we would expect no less from the country that gave the world the capsule hotel.) Just stick the tablet inside your bottle cap and dab on some water – then sit back and dream of homemade pesto.
