Sushi Chic: Artists Aid to Japan

Submitted by on April 21, 2011 – 11:42 amOne Comment

In times of trouble, we must all look to the silver lining. Despite the unprecedented loss suffered by Japan at the hand of its recent earthquake and tsunami, the country and its people continue to ban together to forge ahead. And the world follows its example. So many global organizations, businesses, artists and good samaritans are chipping in to help from afar with support in the form of money, food, and even fun trinkets that celebrate the Japanese culture. Italian artist, FIMO has designed a Sushi Ring with 30% of proceeds going to Japanese Relief. Handmade with ceramic and an nonallergic steel ring, the delicious piece of my favorite food, is a terrific way to help in Sushi-chic style.
