The Urban Grocer is officially looking for an intern to join our growing team from June until August 2010. If you’re interested in gaining food writing, editing, and online media experience, keep on reading. Closing date is June 11 2010.

Tasks
• Author, edit, and proofread food-related articles for the site;
• Research content and contribute to storyboard development;
• Research products and partners for soon-to-be-launched shop;
• Engage press and relevant media;
• Support general management, as needed.

Who You Are
• Passionate about food, design, and travel;
• Experienced/ strong writer and editor, looking to gain publishing experience and accreditation;
• Entrepreneurial spirit, interested in contributing to the development of a growing brand;
• Command a good knowledge of online media, social media, and Word Press;
• Enthusiastic, dedicated, independent worker, open minded, and organized.

Details
• Start Date: mid June 2010
• End Date: mid August 2010
• Days: ~2 days per week (negotiable)
• Location: Working remotely via the internet
• Non-remunerated
