Beer Here! Monk’s Kettle, SF

Submitted by Caitlin Zaino on March 3, 2010 – 7:22 pmNo Comment

beer, monk'sAt The Monk’s Kettle in San Francisco, the impressive beer menu is longer than many restaurant wine lists. Then again, this is the place for learning about beer and for taste testing the gamut of different methods and ingredients for producing beer, all which serve to significantly alter the flavor and texture of the final product.

Here, there is champagne beer, aged beers, pale ales, sour ales, and stout. Not what you’re looking for? How about fruit beers, bitter beers, or lagers from producers in Canada, California, Russia, and Belgium? Happily, that too makes up the impressive inventory on stock. And this is just a sampling. But if it’s a sampling you’re looking for, check out their beer and food pairings. With over 24 draughts and 100 bottles, The Monk’s Kettle is a great way to truly indulge the gastropub experience. Cheers!
